Maffy is all grown now, having recently
turned two years old. Time to update
his page.
This young boy has shaken our world!
He comes very close to our vision of
ideal Boxer, and we could not possibly
be happier with him. Before Maffy, we
could only envision a Boxer of his quality
and dream of breeding a dog like that
one day. Now he is here and is a living
breathing tail wagging proof that sometimes
dreams come true.
Sharing our lives with Maffy, watching
him grow and mature, training him, taking
him to the shows, and whelping his puppies
have proven to be some of the most memorable
experiences in our life. His wonderful
personality, so full of charisma, his
zest for life, his energy, his loyalty,
his desire to please - all wrapped in
a perfectly balanced medium size package,
with a beautiful head and expression,
and a stunning body, with not a single
feature overdone or lacking - could
we possibly wish for more? Maffy has
passed all of his health tests with
flying colors, has won in the show ring
in eight different countries, has proven
to be a complete joy to work with, has
sired top quality puppies for us and
for other breeders. No other Boxer presently
living in Europe can compare to Maffy
in style and nobility, and in his "Boxerness".
Maffy is as unique as his pedigree suggests.
To us, this dog is a quintessential
Boxer, one in a million, above and beyond
eras and fashions, who comes closer
to the idea of Universal Boxer Type
than any other dog we have ever met.
To prove our feelings, Maffy is the
only living Boxer today who has been
used at stud in Europe, the UK and the
USA - the motherlands of three distinct
Boxer styles that have been developing
independently and rarely intersect.
The mere fact that breeders from different
parts of the world find Maffy equally
appealing speaks volumes about his quality.
Update: Maffy is soon to be used in
Australia!
Maffy has fulfilled so many of our wishes,
if he were to retire today, his present
accomplishments would be enough to keep
us happy. But wait, he is only two!

July 2008 update
- as promised, here is more!
At the age of two years and 8 months,
Maffy won the World Winner title and
the Best of Breed at the World Dog Show
in Stockholm Sweden!
