July 29th 2008	We spent some wonderful days at a ~~pride parade~~ dog show at the Adriatic coast in Split Croatia. WW Ch.Twinkle Star v.Eurozone was shown twice over the weekend, and we are proud to announce his sixteenth Best of Breed win and his sixth BEST IN GROUP! Following is the judge's critique Maffy was given at this show: "THE ONLY FAULT OF THIS DOG IS THAT HE DOES NOT BELONG TO ME!" Thank you to the breeder judge Marit Sunde for this wonderful critique (it sure gets put into a frame). Another thank you goes to Andrew Brace for a very memorable Group win taken in a strong competition.

July 15th 2008	We are overwhelmed. Thank you to all of our friends around the world that have expressed their understanding and support. It will take us a long time to answer each of you personally, but I am determined to do it. I could not have imagined in my wildest dreams that the news of the Eurozone deciding to call it quits will generate so much emotion. We have had several hundreds of e-mails, many from people we have not known personally and even more from those whose lives we've touched in some ways. The outpour of kindness and honesty you have expressed to us is truly incredible! Please know that we are very grateful to all of you, and we would like to send out a big virtual hug to you. It is amazing to realize that Maffy have given many of you the inspiration, and the vision. One long-time breeder sent me a picture of Maffy looking at the Baltic sea with a note "Breeding is a vision, and this is what I see". I could not hold back tears when I read it. Please know that you have given us the feeling of real accomplishment, and have made the difference between quitting in total disappointment and quitting with a hope for the future. If any of you ever need help, you know where to find us. I have probably given enough time for everyone to read the announcement of us quitting, but if you missed it, you can find it here. And the life continues from here. There are e-mails to answer, semen to ship, litters to check, and puppy pictures to upload. Talk to you again soon.
